Can I fly with cannabis from LAX airport?
No. Flying with cannabis is federally illegal. While LAX airport policy allows you to possess legal amounts of cannabis on airport property, you cannot take it through TSA security checkpoints.
TSA is a federal agency and will confiscate any cannabis products found. Attempting to fly with cannabis, especially internationally, can lead to severe legal consequences. Use the amnesty boxes provided at LAX to dispose of any products before security.

A California medical recommendation is only necessary for customers aged 18-20. California does NOT accept out-of-state medical cards. Visitors with medical cards from other states must purchase as recreational customers (21+).
